Gary
& his wife Sara have been married 22 years and bring a wealth
of administrative skills to the Trust. Gary served on the North
Otago Victim Support committee and was a trustee of the Waitaki
Trade Aid Trust in Oamaru.
He
is the chairperson of the Nelson Council of Churches, Secretary
of the Nelson Joint Regional Committee, on various Methodist
Synod committees, and a committee member of the Nelson Hospital
Chaplaincy Committee.

Lyn
Harris-Hogan
Treasurer
|
Lyn worked at the Christian Broadcasting Corporation and Suburban
Newspapers in Auckland where she gained experience in multimedia
and journalism. Joining Toastmasters International furthered
her expertise in communication and leadership.
She
has a huge interest in people with special needs and those that
love them and is currently a support worker at Salisbury School
and Chaplain at Nayland Primary School.
Lyn
runs a health and life-skills based business at home and her
passion is to make a difference in people's lives.

Sue Berryman

Sue
is a fourth generation Nelsonian. She is excited about the
Trust's new direction, which brings a mix of wholesome television
programming to our community.
She
runs her own nail technician business in Stoke and is also
involved in the health industry.
Her
involvement with the media and brings considerable experience
to the Trust.

Karen
Hippolite-Combes
Trustee

Karen
is Chairperson of Nelson Bays Community Law Service and is Treasurer
of the National Collation of Community Law Centres.
Whilst bringing up her family, Karen was heavily involved in
the community. For several years she has brought services to
the disadvantaged, which is her passion.
Karen
is a proud descendent of Ngati Koata, Ngati Kuia and Ngati Toa.

Alan
came to Nelson eight years ago with experience in community
service and theatre. He spent 27 years as an Ambulance Officer
and was an instructor for St John. He was involved with the
Repertory and Operatic groups in Blenheim as a sound technician
and an actor. He also appeared in some episodes of the television
series, Duggan.
During
this time, he served as President of the Picton Drama Club and
was a member of Lions in Picton and Nelson. He has a heart for
people with mental and physical disabilities and hopes to become
more involved in this field.

Doug Brooks
Trustee

Doug
trained as an ecologist at Canterbury University, and is now
training to become a secondary school teacher of science,
biology, maths and drama. He has been involved with theatre
since 1990.
After
performing a two man show in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
2005, he discovered a passion for film-making. He set up and
hosted a free community cinema in Edinburgh and hosted a monthly
short film event at the Edinburgh Film house. He also worked
as a freelance runner for television and film production in
Scotland.
His
credits include working for the BBC, Scottish Media Group
and the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
